Adventerous Chics

So yeah, I went to Hong Kong with my girl friend. I know this entry is looong over due but heck, better late than never. Scoot if you don’t want to read.

Imgp2867

bare naked airport

When we arrived, the airport was as empty as my wallet AFTER the Hong Kong trip.

The place where we were staying… urrghhh… imagine Batu Caves… we had to climb that flight of stairs every single day… and that is TWO trips a day. It was a blessing in disguise… looking at the amount of food we stuff in every day. Hehe…

Imgp2868

our outdoor gym… check out the stairway to heaven!!! I am surprised that I survived!!

Imgp2940

FOOD!!!! Geese!!!! HEAVEN!!!!

Day 1: Nearly got blown away. We experienced the oh-so-powerful-typhoon that nearly blew poor little me away… We were scared shitless but when we took covers, we looked at each other and BURST out laughing… Yeah, we are that loony… which makes us so fun :P

Buildings were every where… we were soo lost in the concrete jungle. And well, it is not that we are THAT fluent in cantonese. We pronounced a couple of chinese words wrongly and well, lets just say we didn’t get to go to where we intended to. Instead of ladies street, we ended up on men’s street; Lan Kwai Fong instead of Causeway Bay.

  Imgp2880

Buildings every where…!!

Imgp2873 We fully utilised our finger in Hong Kong. Why? Well, we can’t read chinese and the menus EVERYWHERE are in chinese. So what we did was we pointed and said this, this, this and this… oh, and this!

Ohhh…. and THESE are rare sights!!

Imgp2907 People are queuing up just to get into LV!!! MADNESS!!! It was not even on sale!!!

Imgp2893

The HSBC headquarters. Apparently, this building can be dismantled… sounds like a LEGO set.

Imgp2911

Malaysian cuisine?? Errr… no, we did not try

Imgp2928

There were some kind of protests going on… that is not a rare sight… they closed the whole damn road for them to protest is a RARE SIGHT!!

Imgp2919

Lion dance on stilts… THAT is rare! I wonder how they can stand the whole damn day…

It was hell of a trip!!! We, I mean, I never had that much fun and laughter… It was tiring but it was all well worth it… even if it meant losing my legs from the walking and the climbing!

We came back with an extra luggage, a pair of tired legs and an empty wallet… can’t wait to get my bank statement end of this month… *SIGHHHH*

Shopaholics taking a break.

Vacation anyone???

PC a.k.a Sarcastic Prick a.k.a Ms Bitchy

A couple of days back, I was in the airport… in the smoking lounge. I was happily minding my own business and a couple waltz in, plopping their butts right next to me.

It was frigging late at night and I presume I wanted to enjoy my smoke…

The guy borrowed my lighter and the lady… well, lets just say she is too arrogant to even want to touch my lighter… Hahaha, ok… maybe she just does not want to trouble me (heck, what kinda trouble…). Anyways, whatever it was, bottomline is that she did not use my lighter… and not that I care.

I had a book sitting on my lap… and oh yeah, I know why I was being so bitchy and bitter and yadda yadda yadda… I was having a throbbing headache.

Ok, back to my story… the book on my lap. The conversation went like this:

Gwai po (hint of arrogance): I presume you speak fluent English since you are reading Jeffrey Archer.

Ms Bitchy: Well, the book IS written in English, so yeah… I speak English. I don’t think my book is printed in Japanese

Gwai lo (her bf I think): *laughs* Smart response

Gwai po (obviously offended): Well, as a matter of fact, these authors have their book printed in many languages… well, smart AND sarcastic reply.

Ms bitchy: Well, maybe they do but mine is in English (and silently adding to myself, if the book is printed in ANY OTHER languages, somewhere on the cover would indicate the TITLE in that language…)

I, then realised that she was a little pissed (and me obviously happy over my triumph), stood up and told them I have a plane to catch.

I think the couple were arguing when I left… Hahaha…

It is not that I am being rude to her… well, she thinks that she is high and mighty, I was only taking out my defence shield.

Hehehe… ok, I won’t do justice to myself right now… I am happy being me :D

My Latest Addiction

It is smooth.

It is cooling when it is in your mouth.

When you suck it, allows it to fill your mouth.

It feels even better when you blow… takes every single breath away…

If it weren’t so small, it would have taken a longer time.

It is best taken on a rainy day… when it is cold outside.

It leaves the tingling sensation as you take a final puff.

Ohh, Davidoff… how you take my breath away.

The downside of this is that you can’t get it here in KL… unless someone knows, please give me a buzz!

As of now, I have to hang on to the very last pack that I have… cherish every moment that I have with him… feel the stick in between my lips, sucking it gently and enjoying every single puff that I blow out…

Till I wait for my next pack of Davidoff Menthol Lights to arrive… can someone please tell me where the heck can I get it locally??!!!

Pick Up Yourself and Move On!

It is just so weird… the tables have turned…

Women sleep around more, women seem to flirt around more, they seem less interested in serious relationships, they are erm… not as loyal anymore…

It used to be men… the world is coming to an end? Or at least that is what is stated in the Bible.

Women out there still suffer, no doubt about it… but it just seems like they are making men pay for what they have done previously… Tit for tat…

It is a terrible position to be in, especially when the guy is super sweet.

I don’t want to mention names but I do feel bad for a friend of mine. His gf demands for Celine bags (limited edition bags!), perfumes, wine and dine and other pocket burning expenses anyone can think of.

Now, she wants a break up… cos she has someone new! Like that was not enough, she criticised and belittled him. Perhaps he is my friend, hence I feel for him.

I know there is one person out there who felt even worse… He has experienced this before but only thing is that his gf does not demand for things. I guess things are a little on the rocky side and there was a predator out there, waiting to be "fed". Men, I can be really bitchy here and condemn the hell out of them… but I will not today, or from now onwards… because there are some who are suffering in silence.

I am sorry for those who have been betrayed, both men and women. Especially you, I am sorry.

Can a blog get you fired?

April 2nd, 2006 by pcgan

I was just wondering if I were to bitch about work (yes, I know I do that all the time) and if it crosses the line, will it get me fired.

I mean a blog is something personal. It is done after working hours. I talk about my personal life which sometimes (yes, yes, all the time) revolves around work. So what if I bitch about my work, how much I hated it or if I even bitch about my bosses (no no, don’t get me wrong… they are the best things after sliced bread… and no, I am not buttering them as well. Those who knows my bosses will agree with me). So anyways, back to the topic… if I were to bitch about things in my blog, it should not get me into trouble (read: fired).

I mean a blog IS personal. I cannot stop anyone from reading my blog and if my boss happens to stumble upon this, it is not my problem…

I think I have a case if this happens to me (touch wood!). I can go to the labour union and argue my case… Does that cost me anything, apart from my reputation…? Hmm…

And no, I am not thinking about writing anything that can jeopardise my career… Plus I have nothing to bitch about these days… Life is good… for now!

I need to find a hole!

March 21st, 2006 by pcgan

I know it has been a while since I last updated this blog.

Something embarrassing happened… and well, it is too embarrassing for me to announce it on the blog.

It is soo embarrassing that I need to find a hole to hide myself. Even thinking of the incident makes me want to just bury myself six feet underground!!

AAAARRRRGGGHHH… how careless of me??!!!!

Poodle in making…

January 19th, 2006 by pcgan

I have just permed my hair. Well, actually I permed it a couple of weeks ago.

I look like a frigging poodle now. Those who have tried their best to console me by telling me I look more "mature" or I look different, thanks guys… but I know how bad it is.

Let me just describe exactly how tedious it is to maintain this doggie look.

I have to wake up 10 minutes earlier to put gel. It is not as simple as that. I have to make sure I twirl the locks around my finger (whichever finger you prefer), make sure that it is twirled in 4 locks (for big effects… hahahahahha…. okok, getting a bit obscene) and more locks for smaller effects…

That is not the end of the process yet. You have to then "distribute" the waves equally by flicking the locks that you have made. Give it a little squeeze here and there, stroke it a little here and there. At the end of it, it will all be bouncy and hard ;)

So yeah, this CNY, here comes the year of the doggie and I am ushering it with my poodle look.

Gong Xi Gong Xi!

Lillian Too, where are you??!!

January 19th, 2006 by pcgan

It is bad enough that I have to work on a Monday. I came in and saw this really huge billboard sitting right in front of my cubicle!

My usual scenery has been blocked! Not that there is much to look at in the office but heck, it affects my feng shui!

The edge is now poking right in front of my nose, I have the "WELCOME" sign right in front of me (like why the heck should I feel welcomed in the office!!?? Geez…). Enough said, bad feng shui.

There goes all my chi… If I get fired, we all know why.

Thanks, HP!!

Christmas wish FULFILLED!

January 2nd, 2006 by pcgan

Dear Santa HO CHI KONG,

I have received the cell phone that I have requested for.

I shall continue to strive to be a damn hell of a good girl!

I shall not disappoint you the coming Christmas, again. I will continue to be a good girl.

As for the rest of the items on the list, I shall not be greedy as to ask for the house and the car…

I shall pester my other boyfriends for that.

Thank you once again!

Your good girl,

All I Want For Christmas…

December 21st, 2005 by pcgan

Dear Santa,

I have been exceptionally good this year. I:

- Sheltered two pedestrians under the rain from KL Sentral to the KL Monorail on a very very rainy day

- Shared my peppermint tea bags with all my colleagues

- Helped my colleagues with whatever they have requested for

- Shared my ciggies with my friends

- Bitched lesser by day

- Met a friend who is more vulgar than I am (which makes me a better person)

- Met a person who is irresponsible (which makes me a better person)

- Met another person who is more naggy than I am (which makes me a not so naggy person anymore)

- Am more patient these days

- Don’t lose my temper so easily anymore

- Forgive and forget (some things, but MOST of the things)

- Eat less sinful stuff (except for the McD’s buffet, so that is only ONE brownie point to be taken away)

- Share my laughters and joy more

- Lend my ear and shoulder to those in need

- Helped out in putting up and decorating the Christmas tree

- Gave my mom vouchers for Christmas

- Offered money (with a heavy heart, at least I am being honest) to the needy ones

And because I have been a superbly nice person, for this Christmas, I would like to request for:

- Motorola (forgot the model) super thin phone, the black cover

- Money for MNG sale

- iPod

- Car range between BMW Z3 to RAV4

- Lesser idiots at work place, shopping malls and practically everywhere I happened to bump into

- Money for the needy (read: ME)

- House in Hartamas, Taman Desa and Ascott

I think you should consider my wish list as my wish list is shorter than the list of how I have been a good person this year.

Yours truly,
